Get to know Alva
Headway Norfolk and Waveney is an organisation that provides support for people impacted by brain injury. As a charity that operates across multiple locations, we require an efficient and effective management structure to ensure that its services are delivered consistently and to a high standard. This is where the role of an Area Manager comes in.
Alva is the Great Yarmouth and Waveney Area Manager- she is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Headway Norfolk and Waveney's services in this designated area.
Alva supports the team with developing new opportunities and activities for clients. This includes the coordination of support plans to enable clients to reach their chosen goals.
Brain injury has impacted Alva and her family on a personal level, which helps her to understand how brain injury impacts a family unit.

Alva enjoys reading and spending time with her Grandchildren. She also enjoys going out for meals with friends.
